چکیده
Abstract The performance of an optical system with sensitive line-of-sight (LOS) is influenced by rotational vibration. In view this, a design methodology proposed for passive vibration isolation in LOS. Rotational attributed to two sources: transmitted from the mounting base and generated modal coupling. Therefore, elimination caused coupling becomes important part system. Additionally, decoupling conditions can be obtained. When totally decoupled, on each degree freedom (DOF) analyzed independently. stiffness damping coefficient DOF could obtained limiting transmissibility, accordance actual requirements. must restricted size shape payload installation space, layout constrains are thus also discussed.

A vibration isolation module with zero-power magnetic suspension is developed to retrofit a passive vibration isolation system to improve the performance against direct disturbance. In the module, the zero-power magnetic suspension mechanism is connected in series with a normal spring through a middle mass. This structure can generate zero compliance to direct disturbance while the transmitted ...

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
